Sagres scores hosting Milan Lucic for dinner

Last month it was Patriots Lineman Matt Light. This week it was Vancouver native and Bruin’s star Milan Lucic.
Lucic was in town on Tuesday night causing a stir on Columbia Street.
He dined at Sagres Restaurant and when word got out that he was there, a crowd quickly gathered outside the restaurant. Meanwhile, inside, it was Bruins love fest with the prolific scorer Lucic signing autographs and posing for pictures with customers and staff.
Staff members and restaurant-goers got to see that he is really tall even without his skates, especially hovering over the staff which well, doesn’t exactly cross the six foot marker.
And just for the record, we can now confirm that the big hockey star is also a big soccer fan. In fact, he was asked by Restaurant co-owner Victor Silva if it was true that he was interviewed on NESN last year wearing a Portuguese National Team T-shirt.

“He said he as a big fan of soccer and the Portuguese team,” said Silva. “I was dying to ask him that. He was a really nice guy. He was signing everything.”
