Officials verify student staph case at Friedman Middle School

School officials have verified that there has been one confirmed case of MRSA in a Friedman Middle School student.

“We disinfected the building immediately,” Superintendent Julie Hackett said. “There are no health risks to students.”

The School Department confirmed the case at the end of the day Wednesday and sent letters and fact sheets home with students Thursday.
